
None of us are immune to the strains and stress of living daily in this competitive and aggressive world, unfortunately a percentage of our population fails to handle these pressures well and succumbs to depression. When a person becomes overwhelmed with all-consuming emotions of despair and grief that radically changes their perceptions of the world, then they may have already become victims of depression. The numbers that go with this disease are disheartening as it is estimated that almost 20 million Americans are plagues by depression.

Fatigue - in depression, one's vigor or energy is considerable reduced, resulting in incessant feelings of weariness and fatigue.
Mental instability - an individual who is depressed also becomes incapable of rational judgment and they usually display ineffectiveness especially when it comes to decision making.
Knowledge of these symptoms can help you or someone that you love cope with depression. Keep in mind that this is a disorder that is both preventable and treatable, the earlier you see these signs and seek help, the faster you can see yourself triumphing over this disease.
