Simple Exercise To Have A Life With No Regrets - Holistic Healing

Many of us have had something in our past that we have regretted, as we are human and don?t really understand this concept of holding onto regrets until we are adults and look back at our life. Regrets, in their simplest form, are sensing a loss for something in our past. Maybe it was an opportunity that you could have taken? Maybe a possible love you could have shared? Or maybe it was a business mistake that you should have taken or rather maybe should have passed on? Whatever it is, you don?t have to suffer from these regrets anymore.


We have all had those what if moments in our life, and hindsight is great looking back we can learn what to do now with our present moment in time. You can do something about your regrets now though, move on, and change everything for the better, but you have to be willing to put forth the effort in a few simple steps.


First, you have to identify the issue. Memories can become fuzzy but you have to think back and really see it for what is was and acknowledge this issue. After you have done this is when it comes to acceptance that you made this decision. Forgiveness is the key for this, as you have to forgive yourself before you can move on with your life and fully let go of your regrets. Identify, acknowledge, accept, and then forgive!

After you have worked on your acknowledgement and forgiveness, it is now about focusing on the present moment. All we have is what we have at this very moment. You are reading this article at this very moment, so we have to focus on the present moment and really truly enjoy our life in all aspects. Bu doing this, and not falling into the past or thinking ahead into the future, keeps us focused so that we can see all of the issues that will unfold in front of our eyes. We have to show the respect and gratitude for all of them in our life to fully embrace this type of exercise and work.


Lastly, make time for everything in your life now, in the present moment. This is a matter of slowing down to achieve those goals, dreams, and manifestations in your life. Many think multi-tasking is a great thing, but it actually teaches us to do so many things at once that we cannot really appreciate all of things we have in each and every moment. We have plenty of time in our days if we slow down and appreciate all that we do have.
